Through the study of optical phenomena, Aleksandra Domanović (Novi Sad, Serbia, 1981) explores what she defines as the “co-constitutive power of the gaze”. In Worldometer, the LED fans create images that seem to float in the air, thanks to an optical illusion. The content of the projections varies, combining statistics and data found online and broadcasted in real-time in the exhibition room. Therefore, they refer to the real world, representing it through a continuous flow of information.
